Audrey Hepburn has been my style icon for years...she was my first muse. I remember when I was 20 while all my friends were into the grunge or rave style, I wore ankle tailored pants, cute sweaters and of course had "the black dress". I fell inlove with Miss Hepburn not only for her beauty but her poise, grace and her playful innocence. I admire those qualities and hold them close to my heart.
Photographer Bob Willoughby posted these (and more) rare photos of Audrey Hepburn on his flickr page...so beautiful!
Two of my favorite girls, Kate Moss and photographer Ellen von Unwerth! I think this was done in 1992 for Vogue. At first I was into Kate Moss because she was short and flat so I adored her but she has been my favorite models for years to me she has this rockstar air about her she just "is". Every time I fall inlove with a photo it lands up being shot by Ellen von Unwerth.
So the first thing I do in the morning in roll over, turn my computer on and check out my favourite blogs. The first fashion blog that I bookmarked was "The Sartorialist", love checking out all the street fashions around the world, while still in my pjs. I either get depressed that I don't live in Paris or I jump out of bed and spend the next hour picking out an outfit to wear while pretending I live in New York.
my name is Shelly Solarz and one day I was crazy enough to start a magazine called Parlour. This blog is about me, about what I go though with this wonderful magazine, my inspirations, my loves and everything in between. The hope is that I inspire you and for you to know you aren't alone in your ups and downs in following your dreams.
