Parlour is out!

The new issue of Parlour is out, it took way too long making its way out onto the streets. But I'm proud of every page, the team did an amazing job and onto the next...no rest for dreamers. Please check out www.parlourlife.com to see the whole magazine.

The cover was a dream of mine, to be surrounded by flowers and draped in fur, leather, lace and denim and of course only the best costume jewellery. One of the wonderful things about owning a magazine is living out your girl fantasies.

the sweetest thing...

I really can't believe how wonderful my boyfriend is. We were on location for our fall fashion layout in the foothills near Calgary and he came along for the adventure. The day was long and tiring and when I came back to my car, there was this wonderful wild flower bouquet waiting for me on my car seat. I must say the man has a talent for flower arranging.

I can't believe this issue is 18 years old...so lucky I would never let my parents throw out my massive collection of Vogues that I stored at their house. I told them that Vogue is like fine wine.

Stored at my parents house are all my old Vogue magazines that I have collected, it's crazy but the first one in my collection in the September 1991 issue. This one is in the worst one in the collection, I would pour over the pages day after day. Never in a million years would I have dreamt that one day I would have my own magazine...but here we are.

all I want for my birthday is...

My birthday is tomorrow and all I want is this adorable bambi necklace by Yse. I am a little bit in love with it.

The clouds rolled in, I'm stressed out from car shopping and I miss my boyfriend. I'm new to this long distance relationship thing, it's tough when you have a hard day and all you want to do is fall into his arms, cuddle on the couch and watch an old movie.
